My name is Catie and I am an illustrator and designer based in Leeds.
I grew up in the small beauty spot of Catterick in North Yorkshire and I always knew I wanted to be an artist. I studied fine art at Kingston
University, and after graduating with a first went on to work on a number of projects including sets and props for film, TV and theatre, graphic design, and various commissioned illustrations and paintings. I worked for two years as a freelance storyboard artist until I started to get cabin fever and wanted to work around other humans again!
I now work full time in-house and spend my days designing catalogues, flyers, packaging and website content, whilst taking on the odd freelance commission in my spare time.
While not drawing I enjoy reading, cooking, acting, singing in the choir, and attempting to play various instruments - although not all at the same time! I also love crime thrillers and I am convinced that in another life I would have made a great detective!
You can visit my Etsy shop to buy prints, cards and gifts or find me on RedBubble for clothing, phone cases, cushions and other gifts and homewares. I also have a small range of bespoke Wedding Stationery. Please contact me to enquire about weddings and commissions.
All images used are the property of Catie Waterworth and are not to be reproduced, copied, or otherwise utilised without express permission.
As well as commissions by private individuals, my professional clients have included Space City Productions, Thousand Media Productions, BBC, Cinephonics Prop Hire and Globe Business Publishing among others. I have illustrated two books, available on Amazon: The Tooth and the Sixpence by Eillea M Mayfield, and Little Kitty: The Cat Burglar by Caterina Longtail.
